The Miracle of Trenchless Water Line and Sewer Line Replacement

What is Trenchless Water Line and Sewer line replacement you might ask?  Well technology and innovation is foremost in this new service that John C. Flood, Inc. now has to offer.

You have seen it, or have been there before I know.  The scenario is something like this.  You have some stately big old trees that are a prominent part of your landscape.  Through the years as they kept growing bigger and bigger, so did their root structure.

Now you have a sewer line and those old tree roots just make a bee line for the moisture and nutrients.  Sounds horrible I know but that is what happens.  Pretty soon your sewer pipes are plugged with tree roots.  What to do then?  Well in the past a machine was called in to auger its way through the buried pipes and slowly it grinds out all the root stock and your drain pipes run free again.  Well for a while they do that is.

This routing method does not fix the problem it only prolongs your pain.  The trees are still there and in some months you will be right back to the same old problem.  Call in the old router machine again.  You have three possible long term fixes.

You could cut down the trees, probably not an option.  You could hire a contractor to come in with an excavator or back hoe and dig a trench from your house to the sewer line connection at the road, not a pretty picture and very costly.  It takes a couple of years for the scars to repair where the trenching was done.  Of course an all new type of drain pipe could be installed that the roots could not penetrate, but again, this is a big project, and expensive.

So now we come to the purpose of this article.  Trenchless Sewer Line Replacement to the rescue.  This brilliant invention repairs the problem without having to dig that big old costly trench from your house to the road.  The machine that operates this device has a method by where a cable is fished through the clogged or broken sewer line and a device is mechanically pulled through the old drain pipe and there is a splitting head attached to the cable.  As the power of the machine splits the bad pipe it pulls through an all new poly type drain pipe that is impervious to tree root stock.

That’s all there is to it.  Your drain is working again and you will have no more tree root problems.  The same procedure can be performed on broken or clogged buried water pipes.
